Inbound Marketing Coordinator

(Washington DC Metro Area)

We’re seeking a creative brand evangelist to build a strategy for effective engagement with stakeholders across the healthcare industry.

As part of our business development division, you’ll be in charge of evolving the strategy and managing the team that fuels the company’s online presence among consumers, providers, health plan executives and other consumer health portals.

To develop a comprehensive inbound marketing plan, you’ll acquire a deep understanding of the healthcare vertical (including industry trend and tools) and how best to build relationships with influencers within it. You’ll collaborate with Marketing Directors, Content Editors and Designers to create marketing assets including blog content, data visualizations, graphics, and guides. You’ll manage interns and 3rd-party vendors/agencies as needed. And you’ll report weekly KPI metrics, including:

  • Visibility within search engines
  • Provider registration inquiries
  • Consumer appointment bookings on the DocASAP website
  • Overall web & blog traffic growth
  • Quality/quantity of mentions generated via outreach and social engagements
  • Opportunities/partnerships created and leads generated via inbound marketing activities
  • Size of following acquired across social channels and ability to gain consensus
  • Amount of brand’s web traffic, social reach and online mentions
  • Audience awareness and engagement across marketing channels (including search engines, Facebook, Twitter, and niche blogs)
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to partner health systems’ or payors’ locations

You’re a dynamic marketing professional with top-notch skills—and you’re looking for a new challenge. A good conversationalist with a background in communications, you know how to build credibility and trust. You love the idea of growing an online community and brand from the bottom up, anticipating and troubleshooting problems. You have an innate desire to challenge the status quo and enjoy coming up with novel solutions.

You thrive in fast-paced startup environments, staying cool and organized under pressure as you work autonomously to deliver on priorities that affect the bottom line. You have a knack for juggling multiple projects and getting things done.

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing
  • 3+ years of proven experience with either social media & community management, public relations, or inbound/content marketing
  • Understanding of inbound marketing fundamentals: SEO, outreach, content marketing, analytics, social media, and community building
  • Outstanding written and verbal skills when communicating with prospects, advocates and executives
  • Experience with Corporate Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, and Google+ accounts
  • Familiarity with Wordpress (or CMS), Buzzstream, and seoMoz
  • Business development skills and proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Google Docs (Google Analytics a plus)
