Sr. Software Engineer - Front End

(Washington DC Metro Area)

Seeking an innovative front-end developer to create responsive and cross-browser web pages.


You will work closely with UX Experts to convert ideas into web pages using front-end development technologies, including JavaScript, jQuery, CSS3, HTML 5, and DOM. As a member of a highly collaborative startup’s engineering team of, you will work alongside the operations and business development divisions to help make DocASAP best-in-class at building seamless patient-provider relationships. To accomplish this, you will crank out bug-free features and capabilities at lightning speed, ensuring the compatibility of web pages across all browsers and platforms.


You understand users inside and out. You’ve spent a significant portion of your life applying your limitless creativity and eye for simplicity toward designing websites that are beautiful, intuitive, navigable, and unique. You understand the value of graphic design and happily put website mockups, logos, and other images to full use in your work. Wanting to expand your abilities and getting a kick out of learning new things, you’re always up-to-date on cutting-edge technologies in front-end development.

Meeting deadlines energizes you. You thrive in the unpredictability of startup environments and aren’t afraid to jump into new challenges. People enjoy collaborating with you, but they know to leave you alone when you’re in the zone. You consider yourself a good communicator who enjoys figuring stuff out, but also knows when to ask for help. Your mantra is, “Nothing’s done until it’s tested.”


  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science
  • 4+ years work experience in front-end technology
  • Mastery of front-end development technologies including JavaScript, CSS3, HTML 5, and DOM techniques
  • Experience with web-application frameworks like Laravel, AngularJS, etc.
  • Familiarity with version control and version management systems like Git and SVN
  • Adept at creating responsive and cross-browser compatible designs
  • Can write technical and functional specs
  • Backend coding experience
