Marketing Associate, DocASAP

(Washington DC Metro Area)

We are looking for a talented senior marketer who will coordinate end-to-end marketing based out of our office in Herndon, VA.


  • Execution of strategic marketing campaigns and development of plans for marketing projects under the direction of the Director of Marketing.
  • Drive branding, marketing messaging, campaigns, marketing methods and execution.
  • Collaborate with SMEs, sales professionals, as well as external influencers and industry experts to produce relevant content that meets the needs of both key stakeholders and our audience.
  • Manage marketing budget.
  • Strategize, implement and monitor email marketing and direct marketing campaigns.
  • Write key communications materials for emails campaigns, the corporate blog, Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn.
  • Coordinate and execute projects for lead generation such as webinars, speaking engagements, trade shows, conferences etc.
  • Manage all collateral and logistics for industry trade shows.
  • On an ongoing basis, measure and report performance of all marketing activities and channels you are responsible for.
  • Build out an innovative marketing function based on principles of continuous improvement.
  • Participate in various meetings with marketing and sales and perform marketing support duties as needed.


As Marketing Associate, you will support the marketing team in the planning and execution of marketing programs and day-to-day activities as well as play a key role in the execution of the company’s marketing communications consistent with DocASAP’s market positioning for its leading products and services within the healthcare industry. This is a full-time employment reporting to the Director of Marketing.


  • BS or MS in marketing, public relations, communications, journalism or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years experience in marketing, advertising, account planning, brand management or related field.
  • Experience building and implementing successful strategic B2B marketing plans.
  • Experience with healthcare technology a plus.
  • Ideal candidate will possess drive, initiative, leadership, strategic thinking, problem solving and the ability to cultivate and sustain a high degree of cross-functional collaboration, coordination, and communication.
  • Demonstrated B2B and B2C strategic marketing success with a track record of helping businesses grow.
  • Exceptional conceptual thinking skills, creativity that is supported by a process-oriented analytical skill set.
  • Self-starter; confident and ability to hit the ground running; minimal direction needed.
  • Strong ability to deal with ambiguity and manage challenging projects complete with shifting deadlines and demands.
  • Experience tracking and measuring campaign performance and drawing valid conclusions.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written and visual). Writing sample will be requested.
  • Ability to present to management and executive teams.
  • Sets high expectations of self and work; self-motivated and resourceful.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask between various projects at one time and complete tasks within short timeframes.
  • Experience with email marketing or other marketing automation services. Experience with Marketo is preferred.
  • Data driven marketer. Highly skilled in Google Analytics and/or Google AdWords.
  • Familiarity with CMS/CRM systems – ideally Wordpress and
  • Experience with managing social media.
  • Microsoft Office Experience (PowerPoint, Excel and Word).
  • Some travel required.
  • Ability to work with a multitude of teams such as Sales, Engineering, Client Support and Executive Team.
